摘要:抑郁症是一种严重且反复发作的神经精神疾病,患病率、致残率及致死率高,给国家的公共卫生和经济造成了沉重的负担。抑郁症病理生理机制十分复杂,至今尚未完全阐明。近年来,肠道菌群在健康和疾病中的作用越来越受到关注。大量的研究表明肠道菌群在情绪行为、认知功能等中枢神经系统调控方面发挥着重要的作用,通过给予益生菌/益生元、改善饮食习惯和粪菌移植等手段来调节肠道菌群可在一定程度上缓解抑郁症的相关症状。该文就肠道菌群及肠道菌群-肠-脑轴与抑郁症的相关性,以及目前基于调节肠道菌群改善抑郁症的主要方法等方面的研究进展进行综述。

Research Progress on the Correlation between Gut Microbiota and Depression

Abstract:Depression is a severe and recurrent neuropsychiatric disease with high prevalence, disability and mortality, which imposes a heavy burden on national public health and economy. Depression has complex pathophysiology, and its pathogenesis has not been fully elucidated. In recent years, the role of the gut microbiota in health and disease has received increasing attention. Numerous studies have shown that gut microbiota plays a significant role in central nervous system regulation such as emotional behavior and cognitive function. By giving probiotics/prebiotics,improving eating habits and fecal microbiota transplantation can play a role in alleviating depression by regulating the disorder of gut microbiota. Therefore, this paper reviewed the relationship between gut microbiota-gut-brain axis and depression,as well as the current research progress on the main methods to improve depression based on the regulation of gut microbiota.
